Travel Tip: Hotels vs Hostels

If you are travelling on a budget (and can’t be asked to share a dorm room with others), look at booking a private en-suite room in a backpackers or hostel. The rates are normally much lower than a hotel, and we find the locations are normally great.

Our first week in Saigon we are staying at the Townhouse 50 booked on Hostelworld (around $253 for 2 people for 7 nights including breakfast and wifi). They have great reviews, a great location, great facilities and our dealings with them via email so far have been awesome!
